I am liking the berry taste but I find it a little bland. I think this would need sweetener to perk it up. I don’t like additions in my tea, but maybe I will try some stevia next time.

This is one of those teas I despised at first. I decided to try it out once. Hated it. The sencha mixed with the berries was one of the most awful things I had tasted. I tried sweetening it, and nothing. It was worse.

Fast forward a few months, I re-smell it, and begin making a cup for myself. My love for green tea skyrocketted, and I decided to give a shokai-based green a shot. I found that 1:30 gives your the best flavor: the goji taste is there, and the sencha taste is there without being overbearing. This one you really need to be careful for. No more than 2 minutes!

This tea smells great, very fruity and sweet, and because I read so many wonderful things about goji berries I decided to try it. The fruit flavour is not overpowering and the initial flavour is actually quite nice in my opinion. However, this tea seems to have a very long and bitter aftertaste that makes my mouth feel dry and unpleasant, much like most bagged tea tastes to me now. Maybe the batch of this tea I got was just not of the greatest quality, but I never really managed to brew a great cup of this tea and since I’m on my last teaspoon of it I probably never will.

Wonderful flavor, a bit of a sour fruit like taste that is ideal for those who aren’t into a purely green taste but still want the benefits. The pomegranate/strawberry mix with the benefits of goji berries is delicious. That being said, it is a bit pricier than most of the greens at teaopia, but totally worth it.
