Thanks Aimee P.! I’m not really a fan of plain Earl Grey teas but if it’s an Earl Grey cream I’ll take it! This is nice. Classic flavor with a touch of creaminess. Mmmm :)

My first tea from Teaopia. When I went in the store they were talking about how much they hate Davids Tea, but a lot of their products/advertising etc looks very similar…
Anyway, about the tea. If I were to do a blind test on this I’d probably say it’s just a straight up earl, but a very nice one. It’s not like the Davids version which is much creamier. If I really try I can kind of taste the creaminess cutting the bergamot a little. Mehh, this one is okay. It’s a good tea but not what I was expecting.
I am not usually an earl grey fan, and this tea did nothing to change my opinion. Whatever they used to make the creamy flavour tasted very artificial. I finished the cup and will probably drink the rest from my tea tower, but definitely not a go-to and was just alright overall.
I love Earl Greys, as I find them to be great wake-me-up teas.
When I saw that there was a “Creamed” earl grey, and essentially it was just that kick of vanilla that made it “creamy”, I was sold. Vanilla and I go way back.
Excited, I brew my first Creamed Earl Grey latte. It was very nice! Much more exotic than the usual Earl Grey, which is surprising, because there isn’t a massive ingredients change. The vanilla softens the blow of the otherwise pungent bergamot.
It mixes very well with other caramel-based teas, or even nutty-based teas, in my opinion.
It is the best as a latte, but drinking it on its own is nice too, as the bergamot is strong and gives the tea body regardless of sweetening.
Will likely buy it again when I’m out!
This is my staple tea. It’s amazing what the addition of cream flavor will do. It’s smoother than regular Earl Grey, has a great aroma, and is great with milk or without.
I usually don’t bother taking the steeping ball out of the tea, but have started doing so. It’s almost a shame I can’t do multiple infusions but that’s why I buy this tea in bulk!
