From Teapigs

Louise the tea taster says
We’ve called it simply Rooibos but this one is a blend of two native bushes from South Africa. Rooibos (Afrikaans for red bush) and Honey Bush grow only in the Cedarberg region of South Africa. Both shrubs are harvested and processed in much the same way as tea giving you the closest thing to your regular cuppa but naturally without the caffeine. It’s particularly high in antioxidants and nutrients too.

please note that if you order this blend as loose tea, the packaging will be slightly different. It is our older pack design which calls the blend ‘honeybush and rooibos’. This is exactly the same blend – just a simple name change.
How does it taste?
An earthy, mahogany-coloured nectar that gives way to a subtly nutty flavour.

Good if you’re feeling
in need of some African sun? Who needs a safari break when a cup of this will give you that much-needed holiday feeling, being crammed with goodies to rid you of toxins and calm your system.

Sipdown! Finished off the last of these at work today. They were nicer than I expected them to be, but that’s about all I can say for them. I generally prefer my rooibos flavoured, so I probably wouldn’t buy these again. It’s nice to have tried it again, though. I know my tastes have changed since I first started drinking “proper” tea, so it’s good to revisit some I’ve tried previously from time to time. This is by no means bad rooibos, it’s just not for me.
