Smells strongly of cinnamon and is nicely spicy to the taste, leaving a peppery aftertaste. The packet describes this as being sort of like a green chai, and that pretty much sums it up. A good tea if you’re in the mood for something light and spicy.

I love that when you’re actually drinking this tea it seems so innocuous and straightforward, with the cinnamon dominating the taste – but afterwards, wow! Such a mixed array of flavours in the aftertaste. My lips are tingling from the pepper.

Still the best spicy green I’ve found. Lots of cinnamon, but everything else comes through in the aftertaste.

Tried 1.5 times the recommended amount of leaves this time, just as an experiment. The cinnamon gets a bit overpowering at this strength, though it’s still drinkable – back to the usual amount next time.

It’s bitterly cold here today, so some more of my favourite spiced tea was in order.

Had this last night. I’m really enjoying this one during this current mild winter weather.

A good, spicy warming tea for a chilly winter’s night. Brrr.
