This is a visually stunning tea, the leaves are golden, long, slightly twisted with a lot of tip. The aroma is deep, rich, slightly sweet. The steeped liquor is a dark bronze-red color with a complex, weighty flavor, notes of a slight sweet earthiness (similar to a Bordeaux wine), and just a hint of a spicy note in the background. The perfect cup of tea.. Smooth, strong-bodied but not overwhelmingly so. The colour of the leaves and liquor is everything i could ever ask for from an amazing Chinese black tea.
