Darjeeling Maharani Hills Tea Chestlet FTGFOP1 This limited edition first flush Darjeeling is grown on the shady slopes of the Himalayan Mountains in India, and because the tea is grown at a high altitude and in cool weather the bushes do not grow very quickly, and as such, the production is limited. This tea is harvested between March and April when spring is still budding. Maharani Hills is a small select section of the larger Margaret’s Hope plantation, which is known for producing fine Darjeeling tea for close to 100 years, delivering a taste of history in a full flavored cup of fine tea.
