Roobios Chai

Another Chai tea that I love. I usually have a cup of this while I am driving to work or sitting at home writing. I love how the aroma just wakes up the senses.

I found tea through Teavana like a lot of Americans. But I got so fed up with their pushy sales, I never went back. Some of this tea still sits quietly in my cupboard, I　don’t even touch it anymore.

I found a simple lifehack to get this same tea without emptying my wallet:

Buy Roobios, Buy spices like cardammom, cloves, pepper, cinnamon, or however you like your chai tea, and then blend them. It is much cheaper, and you can support local stores instead of a big chain.

The Roobios chai is alright, but i get sick at the price!

I can see why this is one of Teavana’s most popular teas. It has a wonderful spicy fragrance. None of the spice ingredients (cinnamon, cardamom husks, ginger, lemongrass) overpower each other. The color ends up being a medium orange red after steeping. I enjoy making a cup (or two) after my meals. It’s now one of my favorites.

The smell alone is fantastic then when I tasted it it was absolutely marvellous. A new favourite for me, for sure.

Love this Rooibos best of all…. Such a wonderful flavor & aroma, I could drink this all day long….

I really enjoy this tea. Smells great and tastes wonderful as a Soy Latte.
