this tea is pretty….weird. i cant really describe it. like sometimes i want to say its mundane and just an average jasmine/ flowery tea, but certainly not a bad one. also, the jasmine is pretty strong and present. but then other times i love it and its uniquely sweet and light and the florals are extra present and vibrant. when its like the second description, its great. the notes are jasmine flower and lavender and sweet strawberries. with a slight tastes of mango or pineapple…? anyone else get that? anyway its so unique when all the flavours come out but the brewing is so inconsistent that its hard to pin a rating or description. i would recommend buying it regardless because its a good jasmine tea and sometimes when the brewing is just right, its perfection. Water needs to be pretty hot for this one. i would say about 200 F. and then brew for about 2-3 mintues. i wouldnt go over 3 or it gets extra bitter. its great to mix with Body+Mind when its cold out or Pineapple Kona Pop for a nice iced tea.

A good tea for the evening—light and floral (lavender-like). Very “clean” flavor. I wasn’t expecting the grape aroma/flavor so that was a nice surprise. I enjoyed it!

A second infusion brought out the rooibos flavor much more than what was found in the first infusion. By that time, the lavender was gone and the rooibos was the primary flavor.

So I had passed by Teavana the other day and couldn’t help but take a peek and I noticed that this tea was on sale. It was $10 for 5oz! Sounds like a deal to me! I don’t drink many white teas because I am more of a black tea/oolong drinker, but I’m always looking to try new teas. When I smelt this tea I could instantly smell the grape, but also the delicious scent of jasmine and when I sipped it, it tasted just like that. This tea is very mellow and has a strange grape taste, that I haven’t tried in many teas, followed by a wonderful jasmine flavour. I wasn’t a huge fan of the grape flavour, however it wasn’t too bad, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I was excited to try this one because it has some amazing reviews. I have to admit that sometimes when a tea is highly rated and well reviewed, I wonder if it’s just issue with ME and maybe I don’t get it.

So I made this according to how the people with the good reviews did, same temp and two minute steep. All I get is a weak tea with an aftertaste like someone poured perfume in it. No fruit at all. I don’t even think I can finish the cup. I let it cool completely to see if it was better cold, and it tastes the same.

It tastes sort of like old lady perfume smells to me.

I am not that much of a fan of the earthy, brash taste of red rooibos, but the moist, delicate flavor of silver needle compliment it in such a way that it makes for a very balanced blend

Eh, pretty good. Sometimes the fruit/flower would really hit the spot for me, sometimes not. And after a fair amount of drinking other rooibos blends (and plain) I think I just don’t like rooibos much.

I tried the tea 2 times and, unfortunately,I don’t find it really tasty. I taste the white tea well, but that’s about it. Maybe I should put more tea in my teaball? I was expecting a fruity tea and it’s not what I’m getting. What do you guys do for it to be tasty??? I’m still giving an okay note (60), because the it is not bad, but it’s really not what it announces. In my case, at least…
I will try again with more tea in the teaball and update the note.

Edit
8 months later we are. I find myself looking at my tea collection to see which ones I’m not gonna keep. My mother loves tea, but she doesn’t mind about the fruity taste. As long as it tastes tea. In my case, I don’t really like the taste of tea alone. I prefer when it’s flavored. So when I buy a tea and I find a lack of fruit, flower, chocolate (or whatever kind it is) flavor, I give it to my mother.

Anyway, back to the story. So I see this tea in my collection and I think about why I didn’t like it at first. I was expecting a lot of fruit flavor and I was disappointed. Having lowered my expectations a lot, I decide to try this tea with, in mind, the idea that I won’t like it more than before. THE-DISCOVERY. It’s good! I caught myself driking it again and again. Since I wasn’t expecting all that fruity flavor anymore, I wasn’t disappointed. The fruits are there, but just slightly. That’s okay for me now. I will boost the note because I think it deserves it. In fact, I’m giving it a 90.

Often I use other teas as I try and stay faithful to organic. But, Teavanna had me with a few of their teas. To Life is a staple that I enjoy quite a bit. But, I am a jasmine pearls fan – thus, I like quite a strong dose of jasmine in my tea. What I’ve found is that this tea actually improves as you go through rounds two and three of the tea leaves. At times, that is the opposite, but I feel it must need a bit of extra steeping to pull the flavor fully from the mix of berries, jasmine and leaves. I love it.

Love this stuff! I get it every time I order from Teavana. The jasmine is my favorite aspect, and I always love white and green tea together.
