I just got home from visiting Target and somehow managed to get out of there with some money left. I got some of those super tasty chocolate almonds and now I’m also having chocolate tea. :3
Part of this tea, for me, has been an interesting thing to inspect. It brings up the question if tea should, made by a large company, needs to be ascetically pleasing as possible. This tea includes rose petals; which by and large don’t add anything to the actual flavor of the tea. This tea also includes mate, but it is only listed in the ingredients, not on the actual pages anywhere else. So going into this with a $10 price tag I was surprised that I was getting less oolong (which I thought was the reason for the price) and more mate.
Despite these issues that I have with this tea I really enjoy it. I think that for Teavana to offer it at $10/2oz is a little steep. But, in comparison to some of their higher price teas with less punch, I’d rather take this one.
This tea is GREAT if you love chocolate and want something to satisfy those cravings!
