From Teavana

This exceptionally high quality green tea is from the famous “Dao Ren Peak” in Zhejiang Province of China, and is ideal for the novice as well as the seasoned tea connoisseur. Dao Ren is named for the Dao (Taoist) priests who meditated upon the mountain in ancient times and cultivated the tea garden with the most careful and loving practices. The Dao Ren monastery cultivated these prized leaves for their own use, but now share their rare famous tea with the world. This tea yields a naturally sweet infusion with fruity and nutty notes.

How to Prepare
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8oz of water. Heat water to 175-180 degrees and steep for 1 minute. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.
Ingredients:
Pure, organic green tea.

I’m lovin this as a hot tea. We no longer carry it at Teavana so of course I had to stock up. Sometimes I like steeping it a little longer to bring out a bitterness. One of my fav organics :)

A fantastic green tea! I loved this and got about three steeps each time, very nice grassy taste and a nice smooth texture.

This tea was the first pure, non flavored green tea that I purchased. I has an earthy flavor and I am not sure if I have experienced the full flavor of this tea because I am afraid it will be bitter if I steep it for more than a minute.

A standard green tea; nothing to write home about but not bad either. I find this fresh and palate cleansing. It’s good for when I want something to quench my thirst, and I think it would be a great base for ice tea (throw some fruit in there and it’d be delicious!).
