How to Prepare
Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 ounces of water. Heat water to 175 degrees and steep for 1-2 minutes. 2oz of tea equals 25-30 teaspoons.
Green tea, apricot bits, carrot bits, orange peels, beetroot, raisins, caramel pieces and cornflower blossoms. This tea contains milk (caramel).

I must say I like the aroma more than the taste on this one…a nice croissant type with fruit…yum…but the flavor is too tangy-fruity-sweet for me. I, mean, it’s not bad, but I was left wanting, I guess. I am wondering what this would have tasted like if it were black tea and not green? Also…I wasn’t able to actually TASTE the Green tea base…it was interrupted by everything else.

The smell of the dried leaves is very good. It does not smell so much like apricots, there is a hint of apricot and a faint note of apple, there definitely is a toasty caramel smell.
Brewed hot, 3 minutes, no additives.
The liquor is bright (for a tea) pink, almost a rosy color. The brewed tea smells much the same as the leaves, like toasty caramel with some starchy fruit. To best describe it would be the odor of “buttered popcorn jelly belly jelly beans”. The flavor is definitely a little tart from the fruit acids found in apricots and apples, there is a mild undertone by the green tea and then a warmed caramel flavor.
The tea by itself is alright. I think I am going to try blending it with another teavana tea though to see if I can get more flavor out of it.
Found some of this in my cupboard and decided it was time I cleared this out. The flavor is better now than I remember, perhaps it is because I now know how to properly brew and steep this tea. Regardless, this tea gives off a warm and sweet. The flavor isn’t very strong when brewed with teavanas recommendation. I think I will let it sit for another minute next time. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it.
Weird but good (sometimes…ya gotta be in the mood). I mostly keep it on hand because my Mom likes it when she comes over. The apricot is hard to pick up for me. The caramel and carrot comes through pretty strongly though. I almost wish it had a little more vegetal green taste to it. Perhaps I need to try a blend.

I don’t generally like green tea all that much, but I visited Teavana for the first time today and it smelled so intoxicatingly yummy that I had to try it. It’s beautiful to look at, chunky with bits of fruits and bright orange carrot!
It definitely smells like caramel, both dry and steeped. I taste the apple more than the apricots and raisins, but the caramel flavor comes through. It’s smooth and sweet and creamy, just like I like my teas. I think the company’s description of “dessert in a cup” is a good description. There’s an unusual sweet tartness to this tea—I know that probably doesn’t make sense, but that’s the only way I can explain it.
I’m on the second steep, and it’s still quite good, though the flavors are more delicate this time around. I can smell and taste the apricot more with the second steeping.
