Got a sample of this from denisend, and decided that since today was getting icky-muggy and hot, I’d make it iced. Not a bad cup, not at all. I think I made it a little light on the not-leaf, but I can taste the plums, and smell the spice, and it’s helping me not melt into the furniture. Yum.

Bumping the score because I finally had this iced with enough leaf and a little sweetener. NOM. It’s lovely.

Plum Harvest is a fruity tea – which isn’t usually my cup of tea (lol, sorry). It packs a powerful punch in the cup and is pretty sweet alone.

I highly recommend blending with cinnamon black tea – or stir with a cinnamon stick. The blend of juicy, fruity plum and spicy cinnamon is a real treat!

I’m so sad that this was discontinued! So lovely on fall evenings. I’ve yet to find a good replacement.

The scent of this tea in the tin is absolutely amazing. I hope that the taste is as good or even better. I’m not sure I will be able to rate this tea correctly as I don’t remember ever having had a plum, so I don’t know what it is supposed to taste like.

This tea brews up to a great pink color which reminds me of pink lemonade. The scent of the liquid is the same as the dry tea, but slightly muted. This is actually pretty good. It has a very nice, light, yet slightly spicy flavor. I think I may really like this, but only time will tell. If I can get at least 1 more infusion out of it, a boost to the rating will be in order.

My husband and I have been trying to conserve this tea and now we have enough for one more pot left. It will be a sad day when we finish this up, especially since it is no longer on Teavana’s website.

My husband and I are finishing off the last of this. Now the search begins for a caffeine free tea that he likes as much as this one.

The second infusion of this tea is a bit lighter in color and less sweet/spicy. It is still a fairly good tea that I think deserves a bit of a ratings boost purely because my husband (who likes herbal teas, but always has the reaction of “It is alright” to every tea I give him) said “I want more” about this tea.

Second pot of the night…wow, this tea is a hit at my house. I oversteeped this quite a bit as I forgot to set the timer. Amazingly, it is still good. Less sweet and a bit more spice but good. I think I may always steep this a bit longer than the directions.

Amount: 3 scoops tea
Served: Hot
Smell: Sweet plums, and a hint of spice with a beautiful red color
Flavor: plum with some spice, light body, but none of the sweetness you smell
Aftertaste: none

I added some wild huckleberry honey from NY half way through, it didn’t change the flavor much, nor does adding german rock sugar, it’s a very strong flavor

12/16/09 Beautiful color in my cup. Sweet is the word I would use to describe this tea. I like the Turkish Apple from Upton better. Next time, I make this I will only use 1 tsp.

1 tsp PH plus 1 tsp of indian spices. Brewed 3 minutes in my Chatsford.
I still don’t have the ratio right…weak, but drinkable. You can taste the plum very slightly. I added the indian spices to even out this Teavana blend…way too sweet with just the plum harvest. Maybe I should add rock sugar to the next pot. Caffeine free, so I can drink all I want, experiment all I want tonight:) ummmm…This might be a better iced tea.

Reminded me a lot of a type of wassail I drank at a local fair. It is very robust and fruity, with a delicate hint of spice. Truly enjoyable!
