Teavana is one of the teas I love to drink with absolutely nothing added. It is delicious. This particular tea is excellent. I tried this tea this Saturday at my sister-in-laws house and fell in love (with the tea). I got my sis-in-law hooked on tea and now I can go to her house, when we as a family visit, and try the different kinds of teas she has.

It is good, but it is better paired with another tea.

Holiday TTB

I tried this a few days ago and forgot if I liked it (this TTB has so much tea..) so I had another cup today. It’s not a tea that I would pick up but it’s incredibly similar to Wegman’s Almond Ode to Joy tea that I kind of enjoyed. There’s a bit of apple and the nutty flavor is pretty prominent. The oolong to me is totally missing, as is the rooibos, but overall, it’s a meh tea. (But I also don’t care for nutty teas in the first place.)

I got a 2oz bag during their year-end online sale for $3.35. I thought, hey, why not! Well, this really struggles to qualify as an oolong. I saw all of one oolong leaf in the cup I made. Nor does it taste like nuts. But it is actually pretty good as an apple cinammon tea! Just… not what was advertised. I’ll give this a 65 because it’s pleasantly drinkable but not what it’s advertised as.

Very enjoyable tea for me, and I think it will be a favorite. It tasted as advertised to me, like chestnuts with a bit of cinnamon. I did not feel the cinnamon was overwhelming – just enough. Smooth taste. I tend to like my tea a bit sweet, so I added 1 tsp. of rock sugar. Thumbs up on this tea!

Me likey! I received this in this years Christmas box from teavana. This is the first one I’ve tried out of this box. Wonderful aroma. The taste is warm and has a heavier mouthfeel. It’s creamy, nutty, cinnamon. This only came in a 1 oz and this is one I can see myself purchasing again.

So….I’m confused. While I thought this tea was pretty good, it would never in a million have named it “nut” anything. The first taste I got was pineapple tang. Then apple. Then cinnamon. Then apple apple apple apple apple OH SNAP THERE’S A NUT! Like right at the end I could taste the nuttiness….like…if I paused for a while….and thought about it really hard…Also, brulee? There was no roasty sugaryness in this for me. I thought maybe adding a little sugar might bring out the roasty sugaryness (for the record, I kinda don’t think I know what I’m doing when it comes to sugar…like at all). Yeah, no. It really just made the pineapple and nuttiness disappear and made the apple seem stronger. Hmm. Well, I’ll enjoy drinking this….I just won’t look at the package when I do.

Sipdown (124)!

Well, it is better hot…

But not by much. This one still makes me think I’m doing the cinnamon challenge and then trying to rinse all of that crap out of my mouth with some sort of really nasty, ‘turned’ pineapple or apple juice.

Glad this one is gone. I’m not a fan.

Cheri

Sounds just awful.

When I first had this tea, I loved it. I loved that the flavor of nuts was prominent. However, my initial excitement has faded and this tea has fallen to just the “O.K.” category. Instead, I like to mix this tea with some Rooibos Chai. Mixing the two teas, the nut flavor becomes a compliment to the Chai spices.
