There is a reason why I rate this tea the highest among all teas I’ve ever had.
Most black teas, and black tea blends especially, have a certain astringency to their flavor, which in certain points adds more than anything to the overall enjoyment.
But, there can be so much you can take, not only with these certain characteristics of black tea but also with how specific flavors need to cooperate to harmonize the overall taste.
At times, you can really miss the brightness of a really great white tea, and the subtle detailing of a really great white tea blend.
This tea is consistently and deliciously bright and cheerful, with bursts of spices over lemon grass and citrus, always a great way to start, continue or end any day.
The spices also give a delightful kick if enjoyed after a 10-15 minute cooling, hot but not scalding hot.
This is also my first 2012 cup of tea at work.
Still as delicious as it was in 2011.
Second steep, as sweet and spicy as ever.
It doesn’t really lose it’s flavor the second time around like most teas, it still maintains a very equal brightness with a slight kick.
This sweet and spicy chai blend continues to bring great joy with each sip, not only invigorating the body with energy, but also the soul.
I little over a teaspoon of tea leaves with half a teaspoon of rock sugar and the flavor is consistently bright and lush as ever.
Delicious late morning tea.
Perfect follow up to Spice of Life, this morning is a white tea morning.
This tea never disappoints, continuing to warm my soul with every sip.
An afternoon of winter’s first blanket arrival, confined by my desk until the day’s only light fades into the November skies.
Steeping this tea always makes me forget the worst of each day, and today is no different. The air is cooling, the ground quickly covering with snow. For now, I can only sit in the comforts of my office with a cup of this wonderful chai tea to keep me warm.
As autumn transitions to winter, this tea is one of few things that is keeping me from going insane waiting for autumn to end.
It is still sweet and spicy as ever, the colorfully bright citrus flavors dance as my mind drifts from the miserable rainy weather to late spring of this year in Chicago when I first sampled this blend.
This is my daily tea, mainly steeped in the early or late afternoon.
The spices and citrus accents make it perfect to enjoy anytime during the afternoon and consistently explodes with every sip.
What better way to bring in the new year of 2012? With your favorite Teavana blend.
Oh, how I’ve missed my favorite chai blend.
Despite acquiring a lot of quality tea over the weekend, this blend is always a staple to my daily tea consumption.
Just realized I’ve been oversteeping this tea, as it is flavored white tea, it should be steeped for 2 minutes instead of 3.
It is less bitter, a bit lighter on spice, but the flavor is still bright and full, and this is still my favorite chai blend.
