So I tried this iced a while back, and really wasn’t impressed at all. I’m not sure if that’s because I accidentally watered it down too much, or what – I’ve got a bit of a routine down for flash-chilled tea, but I haven’t exactly got it down to a science or anything.

But I haven’t tried it since. I think mostly just out of subconscious fear that it would end up being a real disappointment, hot or cold. I mean, I did have to buy 50g of this stuff, what if it sucked?

Well, I finally gave it another go tonight, hot. It doesn’t suck. It’s not the best fruity white I’ve ever had, but it’s quite nice. The dry smell is lovely and peachy, and while the taste doesn’t exactly punch you in the face with peaches…it’s still satisfyingly peachy in a lighter and subtler way. A peach-flavoured white was one of the few things that excited me about Teavana coming to Canada, because I’ve never had a peach white before, and I think I’ve made up my mind to be quite pleased with this one for the time being. Although I’m also thinking I want to try blending it with the Imperial Acai Blueberry (blueberry whites, one of my other fruity white obsessions) or a strawberry white (the number one fruity white obsession right before blueberries).

OOH. Actually, hell, I think I’m going to go try a Strawberry Fields/Precious White Peach combo RIGHT. NOW.

Although I might have to backlog that one, because it’s getting super late here, and I need to work at 11 tomorrow. Which is early for a non-morning person like me.

My Breville came today, My Breville came today!!!!!!! Happy dance when I saw the brown box on my front porch today!!! Ok I have calmed down and decided to try it out. This is the first tea I made… I couldn’t decide which tea to make so I just closed my eyes and grabbed a tin and this was it. LOL I enjoy this tea hot or iced. Good peach flavor! Now I have to sit down and read the manual to see how to set this baby to auto start.

Ugh bitter bitter bitter brew. I wanted white tea last night, toddler wanted to have a tea party, this is the tin we grabbed. I made a little under 16oz hot and decided to try my hand at cold brewing the rest, knowing it was coming up on a year since I acquired it. I don’t know if it’s the age of the tea or the chamomile, but this is very astringent both hot and cold. Toddler says he loves it, after making a slight wince, go figure.

1st smell: A very faint hint of peach
1st taste: Same. I know, white tea is not terribly distinctive, but I’ve had white teas that were much more distinctive then this. It isn’t bad, it’s just boring. I am thinking I will mix it with Peach Tranquility for more peachy flavor, or maybe with Berry Basil Blast just to make it interesting. I didn’t care much for BBB either, but maybe combining them will make it more drinkable til they both get finished. Truthfully, I am kind of surprised that this tea made it out to the floor, it being so…bland. Considering Teavana’s tendency to over flavor their teas.

okay, so i’m rating this one for both my wife and myself… Teavana is a very smart, well thought out franchise. they tend to be expensive, but overall their tea quality (in my opinion) is excellent, so maybe they’re entitled to be. what does that have to do with this tea? lots.

this is an expensive tea. wincingly so if you want a hundred grams versus fifty. white tea is more expensive, true. subtlety in taste and fragrance is also expensive. a truly balanced blend will always cost you. this tea has all of that. what costs a whole lot more? calm. peace of mind. no, i’m not digressing.

my wife recently had surgery. nothing but clear fluids 9 hours before surgery and nothing at all 3 hours before. this is the tea she wanted… and it settled her anxieties both before the big event and after, the low caffeine content didn’t keep her from sleeping and she wasn’t starving all night. it was great!

she still adores the tea and piped up some time back expressing how nice it would be if she could get a stronger peach flavour out of it. i stopped by teavana the other day looking for a herbal tea for myself and what do i see? a tea named Peach Tranquility. herbal, 1/4 of the price of the white tea and ideal for blending with the more expensive one!

why is this company so smart? because they create and deliver an expensive, elite tea that consumers want but also provide a reasonably priced herbal tea to meet the needs of average budgets. impressive all the way around; tea, service and planning.

Did a full pot of this one tonight since I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to have to do multiple trips to the kettle. This tea is delicate, almost extremely so. I suspect that that’s why the use the word precious in the name.

Dry the leaves look pretty average, with chunks of various things added, although none looked extremely peach-y. Once brewed the leaves were still not completely unfurled, which surprised me. I’m not one to do a multiple steep on non-oolong teas, but I may try with this one just to see.

The smell of the tea is definitely peach, and a lovely version of the fruit. I drank this one unsweetened, and didn’t once feel that sweetener was needed. First cup was definitely a lovely light peach flavour in a light yellow tea. The peach was more prominent as the cup cooled.

Second cup (from the same pot) was less peachy, I’m not sure if it was because I’d become accustomed to the flavour or something else, but it was definitely less.

Third cup I let cool, and there was the peach again. I think I’ll do an iced tea next time with what I have left of this one. The peach I hoped for when I got this one is definitely more prominent in cooler temperatures.

Got this in a swap with Rebecca R and decided to give it a try tonight.
Honestly, I’m glad I tried this in a swap instead of just buying it. While it has a lovely peachy smell dry, I didn’t get anything close to that smell when I brewed it.
I brewed it according to Teavana’s directions on their website, though I’ll probly end up tweaking that next time I make this. Overall I wasn’t impressed with the brew I got from their instructions. Maybe I’ll try more leaf, or a lower temp or something. Just to see.

I didn’t get much peach while drinking it. It was slightly floral and just very faintly peachy tasting. Even though this is supposed to be a peach tea, it has apple pieces in it, which gave it a faintly sour taste to it that I didn’t care for. At least, I’m pretty sure it’s the apple in this. It’s the same sort of taste I got when I made their Peach Tranquility Herbal tea, which has a similar set of ingredients. Adding truvia to it make it much better, though it didn’t really enhance any of the flavors, just overcame the sourness mostly.
Tried a second steep on this for the same temp but a minute longer and it was definitely weaker, though there was some sort of background taste/flavor that I couldn’t identify. Maybe a bit greener tasting or something. I’m not sure. It definitely got more astringent the second brewing.

Good to try for a swap, but it’s unlikely I’ll ever buy it.

Just got my huge order from teavana heavenly sale and wanted to try this one first. At first smell it smells delicious, like a ripe juicy peach. First taste hits and its a nice light peachy taste with notes of the white tea finishing. I like this tea. I like it a lot :-)

Another tea from the snobbery session. (I’m going to call them that, I just love how it sounds.)

This tea smells so much like peaches. And then you make it and drink it and it tastes exactly like it smells and it’s so good! The peach is very strong and delicious, but just short of overwhelming — I think it would be just as good or maybe even better as an iced tea. There is chamomile evident, and also something floral — rose, maybe? And the tea adds a bit of flavor also. All of that just tempers the peachy awesomeness.

And I’m so excited because the BFF gave me a bit of this when she bought it, and I still have some left. And leftover scones. I know what I’m doing for breakfast.

(Unfortunately, I’m not sure how long she brewed it — I know it tasted better than when I’ve made it at home, but my water’s a lot harder and also grosser, so I’m not sure how much was just due to water quality.)

Smells of really wonderful and juicy peaches with floral, earthy and woody notes as well. This tea was very pleasant from first sip on. A very soft tea with hints of citrus and a great floral aftertaste!

15 down – 485 to go!

I bought this tea while at the mall on an errand for a friend. I thought that I needed a nice herbal tea for unwinding. Little did I know that a peach orchard lay waiting in a tin in a store that was a few doors down…

The tea is sweet, and smooth. It smells strongly of peaches and lemon but the taste is just unique. It is warming, welcoming, and I really wish I could afford to have several cups of this a day.

This tea is a great way to unwind. I don’t have too many decaf teas right now. The smell of this tea reminds me of summer. The peach smell is very prominent. After brewing, it still smells like peaches, but takes on more floral notes. The same is with the flavor. It is just a nice treat. I don’t need to add honey to this one.

The flavours in the tea blend really well together to enhance the peach. Everything goes very nicely with the white tea and has a very smooth, almost creamy, finish.

Smells amazing. Accidently Steeped this too long. At first I didn’t really taste the peach, but now that i’ve thrown a couple of ice cubes in my cup, I get a better taste of peach. I definately think this teas is better iced.

Wanted something cool and refreshing after spending a few hours out side working on my new bonsai tree (my pet away from my furry one at home). Steeped slightly less than 2 minutes. And threw a bunch of ice cubes in the first cup as i was too impatient to wait for it to cool down.
Havn’t really noticed a change from the last time i drank it. Not really peachy, and i’m afraid i might have burned the leaves again. I really need to get a thermometer once i get to school again.

This tea is very smooth and light tasting. When I open the bag the peach scent smacks me in my nose, but it’s nowhere near that strong once steeped. The white tea is delicate and the peach is more of an accent, very nice and comforting tea, but be careful about the water temp. and how long you steep it or it will become very bitter!

I had this iced and mixed with Teavana’s Jasmine Dragon Pearls and the two go together very nicely. For this great mixing ability I am going to up my rating :-)

I cannot make this tea work. I think it’s the chamomile in it that makes it seem so bitter to me, which is a shame because it smells absolutely amazing.

It’s a nis tea to have when you need something simple and aromatic. It’s taste is very faint after the third steep. I love it though!
I love to have this while reading a book. It’s very relaxing.
I don’t find it to be very smooth though for some reason.

I love white teas and teavana’s precious white peach is by far one of my favourites.
It’s light peach and floral scent is addictive in my opinion. I find that it’s soothing and relaxing to my senses. If you don’t like weak teas and need more of a punch to your teas, this one is not for you. It’s very subtle and should not be steeped for more than 2 minutes in 75C water.

I bought this for my parents as an alternative to Peach Tranquility on the advice of a Teavana SA. I tried a cup and personally don’t like it; it’s a bit weak/subtle for my taste, but I’m sure my parents will love it.

First let me start by saying that I’m not a tea connoisseur. I have been drinking tea for years but never really realized how much I like tea and that it might be worth taking the time to learn more about, try different varieties, etc. So my perspective is a bit novice. That said, I really enjoy Precious White Peach by Teavana. What I like about it is it’s subtlety. This is the kind of tea that I can drink frequently and not get tired of it. I really enjoy the lightness and soothing feeling I get from this tea. The aroma of peaches. It is never overpowering. Just very relaxing.

I just bought this tea yesterday and was excited to try it because I love peaches! The tea smells amazing! The flavor is light and peachy.

Overall, I like this tea, however I think that I would like it much more if it had a little more of that peach flavor.
