I am not a big herbal buff, that said my sister convinced me to try this “tea” and I must say…not bad, not bad at all, but not tea either.

I looooooove this tea. I can’t believe that teavana doesn’t make it anymore. The smell, flavor, everything about it just makes me very happy! It’s a good thirst quencher too!

I really like the taste of this rooibos. The only thing I really want to comment on is that this tea is really good to blend with other teas. I would blend in some jasmine and it makes an excellent tea. try it!

Forgot how great this rooibos is.. definitely creamy and very floral at the same time. Calming and rich.. desert tea status. Love it.

Teavana’s Rooibos Rose Garden is…uneventful. It sounds far more exotic than it tastes. I suppose it’s vaguely floral, but not at all rosiferous like I thought it’d be. Roses are used a lot in South Asia: in cooking, in beverages, in incense, etc. This likely created in me the expectation of a certain fragrance and flavour, which just aren’t there. I’ve tried a variety of steep times and water temps, now, as well as varying levels of sweetener; this one just falls squarely in the “meh” region.

I bought this tea for iced tea over the summer, as my allergies were kicking up a bit. I do think the rooibos really helps with allergies, and this tea has a nice floral quality.

Well, after our second warm day in a row, my allergies kicked up big time today, so of course I brewed up a pot of rooibos as soon as I got home from work. It really does make a difference.

In the spring when I’m sneezy, I drink this all day, and it helps to keep the allergies manageable – without the need for otc pills, which I hate. Unfortunately, Teavana has discontinued this rooibos. A shame, because it really is tasty – floral and fruity, but never heavy or artificially ‘flavored’.

I picked up a supply of this late last year after it was discontinued. I have enough left to last me about a week. Then, I’ll have to find another rooibos. Luckily, the Rooibos Tropica is also wonderful and has not been discontinued :)

I’ve had this tea for a while, so the leaves might be a bit old. It’s tasty, though, and smells lovely!

I had a pot of this today. It was pretty old. The first cup I had, when I found it again, was pretty good. Each time I’ve been more and more disappointed. I can’t tell if that’s because it’s old, or just that my expectations were pretty low the first time. Anyway, it was a fruity cup, with not too much noticeable rooibos, and I ended up throwing out the rest.

I steeped this cup as I am finishing my other cup of White Christmas. Smells just lovely, and will be nice with the toast and jam I’m having.

I’ve had this as is, and mixed with another herbal teas… there was something about it, that just didn’t make me a fan… however when mixed with Pear Panache it was much more tolerable…

I LOVE THIS BLEND! For some reason it was perfect to drink while reading. It brought you to the place. Very floral which I didn’t think I’d enjoy but I did.
