Peachberry Jasmine Sutra with Strawberry Lemonade

This is a really nice blend of teas. Next time, I’m not going to buy them pre-mixed, that way I can control whether it has a fruity flavor or a tea flavor. The half and half blend from Teavana has a very fruity flavor. I like it lightly sweetened. Today I’m trying it with agave nectar and it’s bringing out the jasmine flavor some.

Added this one to my collection today for the purpose of drinking iced.

3 teaspoons, steep ~3 mins, then into a full cup of ice.

My tea drinking had fallen off as the weather has gotten hotter and more humid. But this little number will bring me back.

I love this tea. I am not the biggest fan of flavored green teas, but then again, I am a sucker for jasmine. The tartness added by the berries is a very soothing, end of the day, kind of tea.

This blend tastes amazing with some orange blossom honey mixed in after brewing, and it also makes a great iced tea. I buy these separately and blend them on my own, because I like to prepare my tea blends in odd step-by-step ways.

I usually brew 2.5 teaspoons of the strawberry lemonade for 3.5 minutes in boiling water, drain out the tea, add 2 teaspoons of the peachberry jasmine sutra to the wet leaves and pour the slightly-cooled water back over them to steep for another 3 minutes.

My issue with this tea, is that I had an amazing sample in the store, which lead to me purchasing both blends of teas in seperate containers, a measuring spoon, kettle, and so on, spent a lot of money, even on the exact sugar they use. I followed the directions on the sticker, and still can’t get it to taste anything like the in store sample. Very irritating.
