My second blooming flower tea from Teavivre’s random blooming flower tea pack. This one bloomed very quickly and looks so beautiful floating in the water and looks very much like it’s picture. It’s amazing to watch it develop into a beautiful flower in only 3 minutes.

The tea once brewed has formed a light yellow colour with a slight sweet and vegetal fragrance similar to sweet pea.

The tea tastes of Silver Needle tea but with a slight hint of flowers. It’s sweet, vegetal, refreshing, subtle and floral. Anyone that likes green or floral tasting tea’s would love this.

There is something very peaceful about watching them open :)

Flower teas are ace. I love bringing them out at the end of meals with the family, partly to wash the food down with but also just as entertainment in their own right.

My first flowering tea thanks to Teavivre! I chose to get this one because lilies are my favorite flower.

I had to steep it in a pyrex measuring glass because I have no other vessel suited for this, but it worked out just fine. And it was so cool!

I was almost expecting not to like it because I don’t really care for floral teas, but this is just right. It’s not very floral, it’s more like the petals add sweetness to the green tea. It also tones the jasmine down, so I like this even more. It is a very clean flavor. I steeped it again and I’m going to drink it cold tomorrow. It could probably hold up to several more steeps but it’s too late to get into that right now sadly :(

I think more of these will have to be purchased when I order from Teavivre…

as i cannot really control the steeping time, i have to do a short review:

Dry flower ball: I smell. Slight floral and spices.

Brewed tea: I taste/smell light floral and medium spices. I also taste medium metallic notes.

All in all this is a tasty tea I rate it a 100
