It was a stressful Monday, so when my coworker offered to pick up lunch from a fast food chain that shall remain unnamed, I accepted (and guiltily slid my homemade soup back into the fridge). Not a wise decision. Rescue me white tea!

This is like the soft-spoken cousin of the jasmine dragon pearls green tea. I found the jasmine flavor a lot milder in this tea, and extremely well balanced with the white tea. You can taste the jasmine first, followed by the sweetness and delicate hay-like flavor of the silver needles. As much as I enjoyed the dragon pearls, I think I prefer the softer jasmine flavor of this one. Thanks Teavivre, from me and my tummy.

I love this one and the pearls too! I don’t own this one yet, but I hope to get some soon.

I love this tea! This is the best jasmine tea I’ve tried to date. First the smell soothes you, especially if you’ve had a stressful work day. I’ve been reading about the benefits of tea and wanted to try a white tea. My best friend suggested I try this tea and I’m in love. The jasmine is distinct but not overpowering and the white tea is a good choice when I want something light. It has a sweet flavor and I have no need to sweeten the tea. It’s very satisfying after a meal when I’m craving something sweet. It’s not going to replace my sweet tooth for chocolate or cheesecake but when I’m determined to skip my sweets this is a wonderful indulgence. Definitely worth buying and keeping on the favorites shelf :)

Another one from my new TeaVivre package!

What can I say..wow! This was amazing. Really strong smell, just the way I like it. Very sweet, but with a ton of jasmine in it!

The taste is very gentle and smooth, and of course, full of jasmine! It leaves a very sweet aftertaste, and the base tastes great, very solid, but not overshadowing the jasmine itself.

Amazing tea, I will try to make sure this one is in my cupboard like..forever?

I own every Teavivre jasmine but this one, I plan to rectify that soon.

Which one, do you think, is the best one of their jasmines? Maybe I should get another one too :)

At long last and patience rewarded with most gracious gifts of generosity from
this lovely company! Words cannot describe the immense quality of the leaves and the brew that comes afterwords…Its just heavenly in my opinion! Highly flowery with the jasmine goes really great with a light and smooth taste of white tea. The flavored is exactly balanced while not interfering with its woody, almost nutty and vegetal flavor, brews well and multiple times before becoming slightly tannin but not bitter. Its ambrosia indeed!

As I opened this tea I took a good long smell and the aroma was slightly overpowering. I have drank plenty of good and bad jasmine silver needles and from the strong smell, I was anticipating a soapy type flavor.

Well I was dead wrong.

This tea has a lot of flavor alright, but it was not overpowering at all. It was very gentle with a delicious jasmine taste that topped off the beginning and end of each sip. The man or woman who made this tea must have been highly skilled because it is very difficult to make a perfect jasmine white tea.
This tea is up there on my list and I feel as though it could almost rival thepuritea’s white jasmine or even my Verdant’s jasmine silver needle!

Water: I boiled 8oz water on the stove, then let cool for 5 minutes.

Leaves: medium size tea buds, greenish-brown & fuzzy

Steep: 2m

Aroma: Strong Jasmine

Color: pale almost clear

Taste: The jasmine aroma of this tea was quite strong but i didn’t really get any floral taste. It reminded me of the Organic Silver Needle White Tea just with a scent added. I didn’t get a lot of taste from this tea, it was okay.

Yuck. :(

I’m giving this tea a low rating for several reasons. 1.) I found jasmine flower pieces in it. This is a sign that it was not carefully scented 2.) Too much jasmine. I can’t taste the tea at all 3.) It just isn’t that good.

Jasmine Pearls is one of my favorite teas. So I don’t know if it is the level of perfumery that this tea has, or what, but it really makes me feel nauseous.

Hats off to Angel and the Teavivre crew!

This came as a part of the tea sample set I received from their company. At a glance, I was impressed by just the sheer appearance of the leaves. Clean, white, full needle-like leaves.

The scent was very potent—heavy jasmine wafts from the package. Smells like a fresh flowering garden in the spring! I was a bit nervous to try it, as I thought it would be overwhelmingly flowery (almost like an overpowering jasmine artificially soaked into the leaves) but I was mistaken!

I drink my tea straight up, no sugar or honey. This tea was incredible. The jasmine is strong, but not overpowering. For me, it’s the perfect level. The actual liquid washes over your mouth smooth and soft…like velvet.

All in all, I’d say this tea is a delicate, flowery masterpiece which is perfect for a refreshing spring day.

The dry tea has a subtl jasmine scent.

Brewed tea also has jasmine smell and taste. The jasmine is not very strong at all, which I quite enjoy. It is much less jasmine than the superfine jasmine downy dragon pearls (green tea). This tea is light and sweet.

I used 1tsp.

Dry Leaf: A wonderful jasmine aroma.
Wet Leaf: Jasmine with a vegetal aroma in the background.
Liquor: Is pale that is clear not murky and has a nice brightness too.
Taste: I get a smooth and gentle vegetal or maybe hay like flavor with a subtle jasmine flavor in the background.
Overall Opinion: I give this a 90. If you are a white tea drinker and want a subtle change try this with a nice subtle hint of jasmine that doesn’t overwhelm this delicate tea.
