Adagio - ingenuiTEA

Tea by Teaware

The most convenient teapot you will find anywhere – we guarantee it. When tea is ready, simply place it atop your cup. This will cause a valve at the bottom to release: crystal-clear tea flows down, while the mesh filter retains all the leaves with one of the best infusers on the market. Super easy to clean and dishwasher safe. And it’s microwaveable – perfect for the office or the road. You will wonder how you got along without one. Made in Taiwan with food-grade polycarbonate that is certified by SGS to be BPA-free.

I have two of these and just got one for my mom. Needless to say, I love them. Apparently they have just changed over to a non-removable metal strainer rather than the removable plastic one. I prefer the new style with the metal strainer. It’s no longer microwaveable, but no more problems with the strainer coming loose or floating up.

Absolutely the best for preparing loose leaf teas! I’d be lost without mine. I have the 16oz version and it’s perfect for myself or when I have a friend over that wants to try a few different teas.

My ingenuiTEA has opened the world of loose leaf tea to me! I have used two versions of it: The smaller 16oz with permanent filter and currently use the larger 32oz with removable filter. I use it several times every day and I’m always excited to watch the leaves or pearls expand. It’s also very fun to show it off to guests!

I preferred the smaller version as I don’t make more than a cup of tea at a time, leaving water sit with leaves for an extended time gives you a pretty awful tasting tea. Re-steeping is very easy, just leave the leaves in until your next brew.

It doesn’t get very dirty, a little stained, perhaps, but a dishwasher cycle cleans it off easy. I’ve used vinegar to clean the stains before and it negatively affected the taste for a few brews, so don’t do that.

This is a great way to brew tea. It is quick, simple and gets the job done, cleaning is very easy and it is perfect for resteeping. It is a nice way to mix up your tea brewing ritual a bit, although I still enjoy using gaiwans and teapots. Just depends on your preference and mood.

I love this. It was a gift from my daughter, but I first experienced it because my son’s fiancee has one. I find that just dumping the leaves and rinsing it has been enough for cleaning, though sometimes I’ll soak it with some soap. I’ve never tried it in the dishwasher. I like it especially for teas that have a wonderful color, such as Ureshino Tama Kyokucha.

This thing is a must have for tea drinkers. Easy to maintain, easy to clean, and while it requires delicate hands, it makes crafting a cup of tea TOO easy.

Just got mine yesterday and have made 14 eight ounce cups of tea. Suffice to say, I got absolutely no sleep last night. This device and the company that manufactures and sells it are brilliant!

Amazing device! I use this several times a day and it works beautifully every time! My only issue with it is that it is slightly difficult to clean due to the non-removable mesh shield. Even with this truly minor issue, I love this device!

The ingenuiTEA is a solid product in my opinion, and allows for a nice good steeping of tea for an individual, though cleaning it seems to be more of a chore for some reason than many teapots or other methods. My main issue is that the trap to let tea out seems to leak over time and can get a bit messy. Otherwise, a great idea and good product!

I picked this up for $18 off of Amazon and I couldn’t be happier. It is perfect for the kitchen, and if you pair it with an electric kettle it is perfect for your desk. If your on the edge about this, get it.

A fantastic way to make individual mugs of any full-leaf tea and most tisanes, this steeper is not so good with rooibos, mint, the yellow flower petals in “pretty” teas, or any other small things. The filter is fine, the problem is cleaning. After use, you pretty much need to be by a sink to get all the little bits out. Not normally an issue, but this will not be in my bag when I go camping in the future.

I can’t live with out mine! I actually found mine at a GoodWill for 5 bucks! Works perfect. Makes a great cup of something in a jiff. Easier to re-steep stuff too. I also like watching the tea leaves expand in the thing too! This is a perfect contraption for beginners too!

Received this today and… Wow! Such a difference from tea bags! It’s so easy to use and, having seen the size of the unfurled leaves, I am so glad I went with this rather than a tea ball or similar!

My only minor complaint is that with one of my Rooibos teas, some of the leaves escaped. However, the leaves do seem exceptionally small, compared to other Rooibos teas that I have. So probably just a rubbish tea!
