Autumn Harvest Rooibos

Rooibos Tea by The Boston Tea Company

Like a harvest supper made with farm-fresh produce, this red tea serves up a bountiful cup of rich Fall flavors! With each sip, you’ll lick your lips from the wondrous flavors of lemongrass, apple pieces, fragrant cinnamon, and rosehips, creating a tart and spicy blend of South African red rooibos.

This is really flavorful. The apple flavor is strong and the contrast of lemongrass is very appealing. The spices are not overwhelmingly spicy – just enough to keep it interesting. This is kind of like apple cider – only better!

First…let me thank LiberTEAs for this one…THANKS Sista!
2nd…I thought this was going to be too tart for my liking but it’s really not that bad! The spice brings the tartiness down a notch and the tart brings the spice down a tad…nice contrast. The apple is what I can taste the most of next to the rooibos, that is. the lemon grass is a nice sidekick to both. Not too shabby!

Nice in the evening…did a small cup and short infusion

Thank you, LiberTEAS, for sending me some of this to try!

It does taste like apple cider! The apple is strong and tastes like a Red Delicious. The spices are subtle (cinnamon is the strongest, but by no means overpowering), and there’s just a bit of the lemongrass at the end of the tea. The rooibos in this one tastes a bit woodier to me, but it really adds to the tea and makes it taste like fall and going to an apple orchard.

Definitely something I’ll be investing in!!

Finishing off my sample of this from LiberTEAS and wishing I was on a beach drinking something with an umbrella in it. Oy, the holidays and the drama. Going to sit and drink this pot and then go to bed.

Now that the fall season has officially arrived, it seems that I can’t get enough of the seasonal teas. Having a pot of this while reading and contemplating a nap. This time around, there’s more spice than apple, and it’s just as yummy this way.

I usually am not a fan of appley teas but I actually like this one quite well, it smells of rich roobibos & freshly picked apples. There are light notes of lemongrass & rosehips. All equalling up to a nice cup of spicy autumn tea!

Umm, tasty, warming, cozy. Enough cinnamon to do all that, then the apples adding to it, with the lemon grass and rosehips adding a little zing. Very nice.
