From The Chai Company

Note: This chai concentrate features a more concentrated 1:3 ratio rather than the standard 1:1 ratio. (If you prefer not to include so much milk, you can simply substitute some water for a portion of the milk.)

An infusion of filtered water, organic Fair Trade Certified black tea, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper, clove and ginger, organic Fair Trade Certified evaporated cane juice, organic molassis, organic vanilla extract and organic lemon juice.

The full-bodied flavor of our chai is the result of using only whole spices, purified water and organic teas. We do not use any additives or preservatives.

Our micro-brewing process is all about attention to detail. It’s like the difference between craft beer and industrial beer. Our chai is slow brewed for maximum flavor.

This chai is based on a traditional recipe we discovered in Pakistan’s famed Karakoram region. You’ll agree that this chai provides just the right balance of sweetness and spice.

The Chai Company is committed to the principles of honesty, integrity, and respect for our employees and our environment. Our chai concentrates are made with fair trade, organic ingredients. You will also notice that our chai uses a higher mixing ratio than most other concentrates. We brew a highly concentrated chai with the environment in mind. Less whater in our concentrate means less packaging, which means fewer trucks on the road and less post-consumer waste. It also means better valus for our customers. Enjoy.

HOW TO PREPARE CHAI: Shake well. Mix with 1:3 Ratio, milk or milk substitute to chai.
TO SERVE COLD: Pour over ice.
TO SERVE HOT: Microwave, heat on stovetop, or steam. Do not boil.
