From The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

We combined the mellow taste of Bogawantalawa Estate Ceyon black tea with the delicate flavor of apricot to produce this well-balanced tea. Delightfully aromatic, with a fruity aroma and light body, this tea is perfect for a relaxing cup of indulgence.

I had this as my second cup while waiting for my flight home from Vegas last Tuesday. It reminded me quite a bit of the Harney Apricot black but not quite as good. Could always have to do with steeping parameters, etc. since I wasn’t making this. :)

It was good. And it was in a sachet rather than a standard bag which was a nice surprise. It was worth the price I paid for it. Not really bitter but not amazingly smooth either. Good flavor.

I am not particularly a fruity tea fan, but this one serves it purpose well as a flavored black tea. The tin says a “fragrant infusion”. Please caution yourself with that note. Once I opened the can , I was shocked at how much of an apricot infusion there was. The actual tasting of the tea wasn’t that good. This tea is better served as an aromatic. The ceylon is detectable, but that is mostly due to the ceylons acidity and natural floral tones. This tea is for amatuer tea drinkers.

Apricot Ceylon tea latte is my usual whenever I visit Coffee Bean. I’m considering buying the tea itself to enjoy at home whenever I want…

I absolutely love this iced. It has a really pleasant apricot aftertaste.

Decidedly Apricot, less Ceylon. This could be a good or bad thing depending on what type of tea drinker you are. The finish is very sweet and the brew itself is slightly tannic, but it’s above par for a tea bag.

I like it to steep really dark because of one thing. The fragrance. It’s divine :D
