Black Tea, very pleasant aroma, good start to a day cup of tea.

Preparation: Bring water to boil, approx. 212 Fahrenheit. Measure one level tsp. of loose tea into infuser or strainer over cup for each cup. Pour prepared water over tea and let steep for 4-5 minutes. Re-infuse a second time for a stronger brew.

This first flush is amber in coloring; very light for a black tea. The scent is very nice kind of make me think of jasmine tea and not really a black tea.

I had this in the morning to start my day and now very late in the day and no jitters as I tend to get with caffeinated teas. I am assuming there is more caffeine in this sampler as opposed to a green tea.

It is not a smoky tea at all, or full bodied as in roasted. So it is a black tea tasting like mildly green tea, very soft to the palette and sweet to the senses.
