2006 12 Gentlemen Yiwu
Pu-erh Tea by The Essence of Tea
One of the best young sheng puerh’s I’ve come across. Made purely from leaves picked from old trees growing wild in Yiwu, this puerh has a hui gan (sweet aftertaste) that seems to go on for ever. The liquor is thick and sweet, with an almost caramel like quality to it.
The wet leaves are strong and healthy, showing extensive vein structure and are uniformly composed with a high propensity of leaf and bud structures.
This is truly a delight to drink.
