From The Green Teaist

Sencha Yufune is a premium green tea from the Uji region, between Kyoto and Nara, and the setting for the world’s oldest novel “The Tale of Gengi.” Since that time the area has produced the finest green teas of Japan, analogous to the Bordeaux region of France and its exquisite wines. This delicate Sencha is characterized by a bright fragrance and crispness, slight astringency and a refreshing aftertaste.

This is one of my all-time favorite senchas— it is refreshingly simple. It steeps to a bright yellow almost immediately, so be careful not to burn the tea or let it oversteep! I can usually get a second or third steep out of the tea, as well.
