Meh. Let this get a bit lukewarm before sipping, and kinda glad I could. It’s gulpable, and I can swallow it, but it’s not good. Their’s something in the aftertaste that tastes like dry paper/cardboard. I wish the bergamot and honey were a bit more present in this. Just not my kinda tea. I do like that it isn’t super asparagus-y as are some greens.

Still working my way through The Jade Teapot samples.

This tea has a nice citrus smell to it that isn’t too overpowering. But I do wish I could smell the earthy/grassy scent of the green tea a little more though.

With the name Liquid Jade, you’d think this tea would have a nice green tint to it, but it has a much more yellow color to the brew. The bergamot gives this tea a nice citrus flavor with a touch of honey, and I can taste a slight bit of grassy flavor from the green tea.

The resteeps on this tea are crazy, I’m on cup 5 and I’m just now noticing the tea being lighter in color and flavor, the green is almost non-existent and I can only taste the citrus now. I could definitely get a few more steeps out of this.

I don’t think I would drink this on a daily basis just because I like the grassy/earthy flavor from green teas. But this is definitely a nice tea and is a good change of pace. Plus, this is a great tea if you are wanting to find a nice tasting tea that will last you many many steepings.

The leaves of this tea are a pretty good size and produce a honey/citrus colored liquid rather than a typical green tea color. The smell is very clean with a hint of bergamot, which is consistent with the description.
The tea is very smooth and clean like some greens, and thankfully, the bergamot covers up any of the typical grassy, bitterness that may be present. That is wonderful for me because that quality is what I dislike from green teas and why I generally steer clear. This is actually really good. I have found that I can get at least 3 infusions that are very consistent in quality and flavor. I will try pushing that limit a bit – if this tea can handle more than 3, the rating will be raised.

Getting a little less bergamot on this second steep, sort of defeats my purpose for liking this tea. Oh well, still good.

This is really good even though I used less leaves than I normally would (that way I have enough for another pot!!) This tea is making my crave green teas….I didn’t even think I cared for greens. Huh, strange.
