From The London Tea Room

This tea has a heavy body, sweet and tart flavour with a crisp, refreshing and psychologically alarming citrus bite.

It’s been awhile since I drank this one. I started a sipdown box a few weeks ago & have been working my way through my collection, moving teas that were at the end of their stay to the box. Not everything in the box is something I love, but this one is pretty nice! Rich & earthy Shu combined with the tanginess of orange. It’s tasty & I probably need to visit the London Tea Room sometimes soon. It’s downtown, but St. Louis is not that big, so it’s really only about 15 minutes from my house.

I’d like to visit the London Tea Room if I ever come to St Louis. I’d probably spend way too much money on teas there though.

It’s a pretty nice place, & they do have some really tasty teas! And food! So yeah, next time you come to visit we will have to go there for sure! :)

mmmm another win from terriharplady!

I am thoroughly enjoying this one tonight. I’m sure i really should be cutting back tonight but i’m so happy that i got my tea cupboards organized that i’m having fun picking teas out. The orange flavour in this one is really citrusy and delicious. there’s nothing artificial about the flavouring in this one and I am enjoying how it blends with puerh base. so good!

I realized awhile back that I don’t really like too many puer blends. But this one & Sichuan caravan are both really nicely done! Glad you like it!

Sil

i haven’t tried enough puerh blends to really decide, hell i haven’t had enough puerh either, though what i have had, i’ve enjoyed so far. I really need to crack open my verdant puerh and just go for a puerh binge :)

Go for it! :)
