From The Metropolitan Tea Company

Tony Soprano’s favorite. Very refreshing and reflective. Lush ripe strawberry notes fill the cup leading to an astringent finish.

I love fall and winter for one thing. Hot tea. sure, you can have hot tea any time of year, but it tastes best when it’s cold outside. And iced tea is great, but it’s not comforting. Today is chilly and windy and I’m drinking hot tea by the potful! I am so comforted right now.

This tea is fabulous. The strawberry flavor is so fresh and juicy. The flavor is like strawberry candy more than real berry, but the clean fresh flavor of the green tea makes the strawberry taste more real and not cloying. Yummy! I love this! Of course, I also love strawberry flavored candies. I love strawberry in all it’s incarnations, actually.

There’s a slight astringency at the end of the sip, but it barely diminishes the tastiness.

I bet this would be really good mixed with some lemongrass. I have to buy some of this!

THanks DaisyChubb!

Had this iced today – yummm. I know it’s hot tea season, but I just came from dance class and wanted to try my Steeper’s iced tea capability (just how they do it in store O:)
Drizzled a little agave over my ice cubes and whala. Instant iced gratification.

I steeped a little long (a tad bitter), but used lots of leaf so my second cup was less bitter. It’s a nice green taste, with a hint of strawberry. And dang the leaves smell good. Can probably get a third cup, here we go!

Curiosity got the best of me, what kind of dance? There is a tiny dance-a-holic trapped inside my body … don’t think about that too much.

DaisyChubb

Who knew Seattle would be my tiny dancer! :D
Well I’m just taking a Hip Hop class before, but I’ve just finished some Jazz and Ballroom classes :) It’s all good imo

Ah nice, I was a lindy hop addict for a number of years and did a bit of blues, not the sleezy blues though. Considering trying a country two-step or something, haven’t decided yet though. Solo dances aren’t my thing, see I look like crap on the dance floor, but when I’m dancing with a lovely partner no one is looking at me so it doesn’t matter. :-)

DaisyChubb

Ah I like your thinking! See for me, I’m clumsy and so not graceful at.. well.. both. So I stick to solo so people don’t see me stepping on toes. >_>

I’m not usually a big fan of fruity teas, especially herbals, so this strawberry green tea was something new worth trying…. What a nice surprise! The subtley sweet strawberry taste is really well complimented by the floral and slightly bitter green tea. Lovely!!!!

Amazing flavour! Like drinking fresh strawberries, you don’t really taste the green tea..

Very refreshing smell and taste. I have the package open on my desk and the smell of strawberry making me crazy. Excellent blend of green tea, strawberry and papaya makes this tea one of my top favorites. I do double infusion with a pinch of dry from package and enjoy it. Steeping time that I put 4-5 min with drop of honey.

Very nice strawberry flavor. Light astringency, hardly noticeable. Tastes delicious warm or as iced tea. I think it’s sweet and good on it’s own; if you like sweetened tea, I’d start light with the sweetener.
