I am really loving this tea.
It’s (hopefully) probably not apparent on Steepster, but I need a lot of help in the happy department. Tea is my current sanctuary, and I’m loving every sip of it.

This tea is perfect in that respect! I love love love peach teas (usually green) but with the rooibos it’s deep and luscious. The lemon myrtle is a tasty touch, and I can’t wait to make a huge jug of yummy iced tea.

It’s making me smile with every sip, and this is totally the tea for me.

Sipdown!
Not bad, actually pretty tasty for a bagged rooibos. Nice and lemony and spirit lifting :)

Cold brewed this for today with some Belgian Chocolate rooibos
It’s like a roobibos party in my mouth, and everyone’s invited. Or maybe just me.
Either way… TASTY!

Still love this one, great bagged rooibos and it makes me happy ^^

I love love love the scent of this tea steeped. I sniffed it until it was room temperature. I think it was the happy citrusy lemongrass that did it for me. I don’t care for the taste as much as I enjoyed the smell. It is arlight. Something in it is very herbally in a way I’m not sure I like. I’ll try a few more bags and see if it grows on me a bit. It is nice to have another herbal blend to drink in the evenings. And I now have the perfect 5oz cup for one tea bag. Adagio’s tasting set cups are my new favorite cups. I haven’t experimented with the “tea pot” part of the set yet, but I need to order more so I can get more of these cups! Great size for all the samples I’ve been trying.

I still love the scent of this tea. I let it hover right below my nose as I used the heat to warm my hands and the citrus and lemon balm scents to lift my spirits. So this all makes me happy, but drinking the tea is kind of meh. If anyone would like a few bags, let me know. I have a few to spare.

I’m ridiculously susceptible to suggestion, so honestly just looking at this bright yellow tin with its cheerful exhortation puts a smile on my face. Luckily on top of that it has a really pleasant flavor! It’s lemony without being at all overbearing about it – I think even without the name I’d probably describe the flavor as bright and cheerful. I don’t get much of the peach flavor, but it’s a nice cup even without, so I can’t complain.

I just put this one through a ridiculous steep time – as in I set two bags into a portable cup about forty-eight hours ago in anticipation of taking it out with me, and ended up leaving it steeping in my intermittently very warm car for two days straight. I just took it out now and it’s quite tasty. God bless rooibos, it can really take so much abuse.

This is another blend I got from Meghann M. Thanks once again. I could taste the roobios slightly but not over the top which makes me happy. While lemon Is not one of my favorite fruits in this Its not extremely tart and it blends well with the peach which I like. I believe this is a pretty good.

lovely bright peach & lemon scent from the bag – smells like lemon drops or other sugary candy. Lemon smell seems slightly more medicinal as it begins to steep in 6 oz water for 6 min.

Color: golden yellow-orange
Flavor: honestly, it tastes like medicinal lemon to me (cough drop or theraflu)
Added: 1 tsp sugar, which cut some of the medicinal taste, but is now almost too sweet. forgot it was only 6 oz water – 1/2 tsp or less sugar next time!

Verdict: undecided. It has a cheerful sunny color and upbeat flavor, but I am concerned about the medicinal taste. I really hoped to be blown away. Where’s the peach??? Will hold off rating for now…

wanted something lemony to go with my rosemary olive oil bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese. Made a double mug (2 bags in 12 oz)

drinking a double dose of Get Happy for a much needed attitude adjustment!

wanted a different rooibos for a change. This is sweet and bright, a bit like hard candy in a cup.

double batch – 2 bags in 12oz water

Have a sore throat and am in a bad mood so hopefully it will help both. I like the tea better now that I know what to expect, but still sad that I taste much more lemon than peach.

A light, cheerful morning cup that looks, tastes, and feels like sunshine. Bring on the Spring!

in other news, I think my Copco eco-first acadia mug just arrived (it’s the one that looks like a take-out cup). I’ll have to try it out and review later this week. Of course it would arrive after my morning cuppa is already drained. Guess I’ll just have to make more tea!

I have to agree with Mitch. I initially tried this tea because of the interesting blend of lemon, peach, and roobios, but it actually makes me feel happier when I drink it. It has a very fruity and cheerful taste as well as smell to it. I’ve shared this tea with five other people so far and they have all enjoyed it as well. This is definitely a staple for me to wind down my day with.

Citrus. I don’t get lemon, or peach…more of an orange. I LOVE the smell of this tea. For me, that’s where the “happy” comes from.

Sipping it, I get that same “scratchy” feeling in my throat as I get when I drink chamomile, but it’s not very bothersome.

With this tea, I just let the teabag sit in the cup, and drink it without additives.

This is the last tin I’ll be able to find locally. I used to purchase RoT’s teas all the time years ago, but they have just become too pricey, imo. I found this one on clearance, which is why I picked it up. I like this tea a lot, and now I won’t be able to buy it again. I’m always doing that to myself. Must stop buying limited edition or discontinued items!!!

Sweet and pleasant yet I cannot say that I feel this promised “burst of sunshine”. This one has been in my cupboard for a while and I’m sorry to say that its not one I find myself needing. I have other options that are more appealing.

I picked this up at the store because 1) I like red teas, and 2) I fell for the marketing. “Get Happy”? Sign me up! Turns out I like it a lot. It’s nice and fruity and sweet. I can usually reuse the bag 2-3 times.

Amount: TeaBag (1.5 gram)
Additives: none, 1 teaspoon german rock sugar
Water: 180 degree
Steep Time: a little over 5, 8:30 minutes
Served: Hot

Notes: The sugar sweetened and smoothed out the flavor masking the citrus

Smell: sweet, fruity, peach
Flavor: fruity, citrusy
Body: light
AmazonV Aftertaste: citrus
Militiajim Aftertaste: none
Liquor: very clear, light brown with reddish orange tint

finished off my travelers tin (come on cupboard i need some space!) with a 7 minute 6 ounce steep, i feel this needs a long steep and sweetener, it smells peachy, and tastes like fruity roobois per my last note, but although pleasant i think i have other favorite reds I’d rather stock.

Much better when properly dosed (2 bags, 12 ounces) and 1 teaspoon german rock sugar

This is one of the finest teas I’ve tasted. I have anxiety issues that run in my family, and I began taking St. John’s Wort as a supplement to help keep the ol’ noggin stable. Problem is, taking 3 pills a day can get kinda annoying.

So, I was overjoyed to know that my favorite tea company – the Republic of Tea – was churning out a product that contained a standard dose of St. John’s Wort that didn’t taste like cat pee.

The aroma is awesome and the taste is absolutely wonderful. Super tasty, and brilliant even without sugar. It helps with the anxiety, but it also helps with the thirst for tea.

A ballpark win in my opinion.

This is one of my favorites! It is super sweet (probably cuz I add honey to all my tea). It has a hint of lemon too, which is probably why I like it so much. Decided to make some Get Happy tea because finals week is bringing me down. I think it’s workingggg!

As soon as you open the can, you get a whiff of lemon and happiness. With the bright cheery tin and the luscious smell, you feel your mood lifting with every sniff. And thankfully, this tea tastes as good as it smells. It’s good plain, it’s fantastic with a spoonful of honey (any kind), and even if it steeps too long or it gets cold, it’s still yummy. Will be buying more of this again before I run out!

This is kind of just…eh. It’s not completely “throw out my whole cup” horrible, but I still generally don’t finish my cup when this is in it. I was given this as a gift, so I probably won’t repurchase this. I’m not sure if I just don’t like peach teas, or if it was the red tea base I didn’t like…I’m leaning towards the tea base, though, because I HATED another red tea from RoT as well…
