I love how peachy this tea smells, it almost makes my mouth water. There’s almost no ginger at all in the scent of either the dry or steeping tea, interestingly. The reverse is true of the taste of the tea; at first it’s like a weakish black tea flavoured with ginger root – and nothing else. But as the tea cool, the fruity flavour of the peach slowly comes back in – although it’s not as strong as the scent would suggest.

I’ve been looking for a good decaf teabag; the Mango Ceylon by RoT was made of fail but this one is actually quite decent. The ceylon base seems weak to me like I noticed with the mango, but again I’m not sure if that’s just the tea they’re using or a result of the decaffeination process.

This is really good with a bit of honey – it makes the ginger taste more like crystalized ginger and enhances the sweetness of the peach.

I seem to be on a bit of a lemon/ginger kick right now. Anyways this is my last teabag – I don’t think I’ll buy a full canister of this; it has potential as a tea but it also has some glaring faults too. Maybe I’ll try the fully caffeinated version and see how it compares.

I thought I was over my nasty stomach flu but my tummy has started feeling a bit queezy again. 0_o

Drinking this tea seems to help – it must be the ginger in it.

Fruity and light with just enough ginger in it to be warming and refreshing. :)

This is okay. I’m not a fan of the artificial peach flavor… and I tasted it in this blend. Not bad but not the best either. I didn’t add any sweetener to it either.

Supposed to be a black but it was burnt when brewed that way.

I found myself in a situation where a pre-bagged tea would’ve served me better. I’m pretty sure I used too many leaves in my Tea Forte Kati strainer mug (I have the spring grass design), and it resulted in a very strong brew. I had to add some water to make it drinkable, but that cooled it considerably. I used three sugar cubes and no milk. Bad first impression, so I’m reserving judgement until I can try it again.
