Rose Petal Tea

Black Tea by The Republic of Tea

Tea for the Queen of Hearts – This royal tea blend has the light spice of delicate, young rose buds and petals atop the sweet fullness of China black tea. A Victorian tradition, perfect served in fine China cups for kings, queens, friends and loved ones.

This has been my go to rose tea for years. I remember when it was called queen of hearts and you could only get it seasonally through republic of tea. It is wonderfully floral but not too much. I find the rose very calming and soothing.

Found this to have a nice balance, the rose flavor was balance with the black tea so you could taste everything. Love this as a hot tea. Found it was not good over ice. Overall a great tasting tea to have with cake or cookies.

While visiting my grandmother several years back, I tasted this tea. At first, all I could smell were the roses. Then, the naturally sweet-smelling black tea shone through. Although the scent of the roses was strong (yet not overpowering), the taste was very light.
I guess this tea is alright, but not my favorite.

The roses smelled great, and the black tea wasn’t overpowering the delecate rose flavor. The blend went very well, to produce a wonderful tasting brew.

This is my favorite rose petal tea and is in my top 5 favorite teas. The taste is fresh and light, but strong and flavorful. The smell is divine and the tea itself is beautiful.

This is a very pleasant tea. One of my favorites. Not only do the rose petals complement the black tea leaves, but it leaves a wonderful aroma in the air. Everyone at work loves it when I brew this.

I have always been drawn to tea with rose petals in it. Frequently, I’ve been disappointed – the rose petals were too cloying and destroyed the taste of the tea. This, however, was the perfect blend of tea and roses. The hints of rose petals were just enough to balance the heaviness of the black tea. Perfect with a scone!
