Celebrate, The Monk

Black Tea by The Tea and Jazz House

Cranberry, black tea, orange peel, apple, papaya, pineapple, apricot, almond, rose hips, cinnamon, rose petal, cornflower, and organic compliant flavoring. This is a celebration of the artist T. Monk. With his unusual and unorthodox method of play, this tea is a master piece.

This tea was wonderful. We enjoyed this one on a cold evening next to the fire, and it really went well with the moment. It has a very “Autumnal” taste to it. It’s the little bit of spice combined with the fruit flavors that really reminds me of fall. It truly is “A Black Celebration” as the label says. There may be a lot of “monk’s blends” available out there from various companies, but there’s only one “The Monk”.

I love jazz. I love Monk. I did not however love this tea. I felt like the smell was overpowering and the taste was weak and vaguely artificial-tasting.
