From The Tea Emporium

This green tea is considered to be one of the best in China. The name “Mao Jian” refers to the firmly rolled appearance of the leaves, which are slightly dark green with delicate edges and pointed ends. It has a lovely aroma with a mildly astringent yet sweet finish.

Sample sipdown!

This was quite a nice green, actually. Vegetal, a nice light tan liquor, and definitely an authentic flavour. It’s quite sweet as it cools. This is surprising since I steeped it at a very high temperature – it didn’t get bitter on me.

I just had a cup of that this morning. It’s a good tea to start off the day.

2nd (or could be 3rd) time having this tea. It tastes better than on my first review. I’m surprised I didn’t mention the buttery notes in it. It’s a very mellow buttery green tea. I think it’s too special to have everyday and I’m bumping up my rating from last time because I’m loving this tea even more.
