Sipped down the last of this one tonight. It came free with my order and while it wasn’t a bad tea at all, it isn’t what I hope for in a tea. Those who were disappointed in David Tea’s Caramel Spice may enjoy this one though, since there is a definite caramel flavour to it!

This is really nice! It delivers on the sweet and creamy fronts. It’s definitely the strongest, most convincing caramel I’ve found in a tea. At 200 degrees for 2 minutes, the bitterness was kept mostly at bay and drunk plain this was a nice, indulgent cup to accompany my slacking off.

I had a sad moment this morning when I went to make this tea… I brewed it as usual, but when I poured my milk into it, it curdled. I knew the milk had to be getting close to done, but I didn’t realize it was bad… It made me so sad… I had to dump the tea, and resteep.
The good news in all this, I resteeped this tea a second time, and I let it sit for a bit, and it was awesome. It was just as good as a first steeping would have been. I like my black teas pretty strong and this held up really well. I was very happy. I’m loving this tea!

Tea Haus teas are like Adagio teas for me. I have to steep them below boiling so they don’t get painfully bitter. But with some of the Tea Haus teas, I steeping them at a lower temperature leaves them weak and kinda boring.

This is one such tea. I do get a sweet burnt caramel flavor, but it tastes watered down and weak. Maybe I’ll play with the ratio or something to try and perk it up…and to get rid of more leaf.
