Organic Royal Silver Needle
Silver Needle (Bai Hao Yin Zhen) as the name suggests, is a highly sought after White Tea. This tea is amazingly fresh and is harvested for only a few days each Spring when only the youngest single buds are plucked in the morning, and allowed to dry in the sun. The final leaves are sturdy and a silvery green in colour. Each bud is covered in a white down and is soft to touch. Whilst infusing, the tips hang straight in the water before slowly beginning to move, raising and falling back again whilst gently releasing their colour and fragrance. They produce a liquor that is bright and green with a delicate aroma. The taste is sweet, very mellow with hints summer fruits, a real delight.
