Sencha Berry Melon Tea combines green tea, honey melon cubes, flavoring, freeze-dried raspberries, sunflower petals. Delightful hot or iced. Use 1 tsp. per cup and steep 2 minutes in steaming water.
This tea is acceptable. The Raspberry overwhelms the much more subtle melon flavor, alas. And the freeze-dried raspberries taste a little bit more like Smart-T’s than fruit.
Overall, this inexpensive tea might be worth a try. I don’t think I will reorder it because I’ve found a much nicer melon tea that I prefer (that would be you, Golden Moon) and the raspberry flavor is all over the place.
I was having internet issues yesterday and almost forgot to log/back log this. Rachel sent me a nice little sample and I must say I enjoyed it! The Melon Cubes did it for me, I have to admit! All of the flavors were mellow to mellow-medium in taste. I could taste them all individually but they all meshed well too! nice, pretty flavored sencha!
