I’ve never had an Oolong before. That being said this smelled really great when I opened the package…a bit like lemon squares and I LOVE lemon squares! The great smell continues as the tea steeps…good sign. But again I’m not clear as to what this really should taste like so… it isn’t bad. Of course it isn’t WOW either. I’d drink it again but I’m not sure I’ll restock once this sample is done.

I recommend trying some unflavored Oolongs first, so that you can get an idea of what they are like without the flavoring. And keep in mind that there are many types of Oolong, and how long they’re oxidized affects the flavor.

What would you suggest?

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

There are a lot of great ones from Chicago Tea Garden, thepuriTea, and Naivetea and so many more. If you want more suggestions from me then please feel free to DM me. :-)

My tea shop has this! I think it would be amazing in a chicken stock. There’s also an entry for this under David’s Tea which is likely where my shop gets it from. Good to know so I can enter it there vs my local shop.
