I am suprised to see such positive reviews. This tea jsut doesn’t cut
it for me, perhaps it requires a smaller amount of water to be brewed, but there was simply not enough taste in the tea to satisfy me. Though I was calling out for more of the strawberry flavours, it just did not deliver. I feel as though I should really enjoy this tea, as I like all of the ingredients. perhaps it comes down to quality, rest assured I will not be buying this any more.

Backlog.

I pulled out a bag of this a few days ago, because I wanted some caffeine and I wasn’t in the mood for something tart. I was afraid the water was too hot, but it was actually quite pleasant to drink. Definitely tart, though I couldn’t really pick out any individual fruit flavors, except maybe raspberry. Overall, I enjoyed it, but not enough to crave it.

How i got it: Tried it and got a bag from my sister-in-law house, beginning this year

Experience: It has a nice and very natural aroma, something that’s not always the case in berries-flavored teas. Maybe I could describe it as a mix between La Teteria’s Berries Silvestres and Basilur’s Winter Tea, in the sense that the main scents seems to be the strawberry and the blueberry ones. In the taste side, the sip begins with a mild acidic touch that introduces a mix of strawberry, raspberry and, as other users noticed too, some apple-like notes of flavor. Simple taste, mainly well-defined and relatively lasting (the aftertaste tends to a flavorless, watery sensation). As I’ve said other times, I’m not really a fan of tart blends, but despite that, this tea managed to be slightly above the average.

Would i buy it?: It wasn’t that bad, but my answer would be ‘no’.

I bought this tea as it appeared to be a healthy alternative to black tea with milk.
However when I read the packet and realised it contained 8% flavourings I checked several websites but couldn’t find out what the flavourings were.
I wrote to Twinings and this is their reply:
This particular product contains 4 separate artificial flavourings which make up the 8% flavourings stated on the packet. I realise this percentage may appear high, but when developing the products we have to take into account that each tea bag contains only 2g of the blend, which is then diluted by approximately 100 times (i.e. 200ml) by water. You are right, it is likely that the ingredients of the 8% flavourings give the tea a strong aroma.

The flavouring materials used are the intellectual property of our suppliers, so the specific recipe that makes up the 8% flavouring is confidential to them. However, if there is a certain ingredient you would like to avoid please let me know and I can try and get more details for you.
So the warning is don’t drink this tea if you don’t want a dose of unknown artificial flavourings. Unfortunately if you are concerned about your health the best place for this tea is in the bin.

a smooth tea for everyday drinking. doesnt require any sugar even for a sugar-lover like me, leaves a quite sweet aftertaste.

It is one of my favorite. There is not much to add to the previous comment. If you did not tasted it yet – try.
