Still feeling not good. Need to get things more balanced in my life. Having a cup of this to help my body sort itself out. Peppermint always seems to really help.

On the positive side, I’ve been reading a lot about naturopathy and I think I’d really like to be a naturopathic physician. It encompasses everything I’ve ever believed in and strive for. I definitely want to be involved in that field. I had a sort of aha moment the other day.

Yes, here comes another tasting note of Twinings Peppermint from me, haha.
The boyfriend made me my current favorite bedtime drink. Hot peppermint tea with coconut milk & honey. Except he accidentally put brown sugar instead of honey, but it’s still yummy.

In other news, I went through with dying my hair back red :D Here ’tis! http://i53.tinypic.com/10wuool.png Crappy picture but I snapped that one quickly before about passing out. Tiring day!

Good ol’ Twinings Peppermint tea. Raising my rating because it’s always there for me when I’m feeling crappy, and it helps tremendously.

hum.

Backlogging from last night. Whipped this up with a good splash of milk and honey… and oh my goodness why had I never tried that before o.o
Such a lovely bedtime drink, milk and honey is already so soothing and lovely before bed, but adding peppermint to the mix aids in digestion and reportedly encourages good dreams. Adds a nice refreshing taste, too! Minty milk & honey! Mmmm.
I know that if I drink peppermint tea before bed when I’m not feeling great, I always end up sleeping wonderful and waking up feeling refreshed. Magical stuff, peppermint is!
Oh and I made a cup for the bf, especially since he normally has problems sleeping good, and he ended up sleeping SO great that he accidentally slept in and had to get ready for work in literally like, 1 minute… and guess what he did it!.. and ended up arriving with a few minutes to spare!

Peppermint tea and yoga.

meh. not feeling good.. break out the peppermint tea.

A co worker got this on sale and made a point to give me a bag, since she knows I’m really into tea. I’m not going to lie, part of me was elated to be known for my habit! :)

This wasn’t bad, really. The peppermint smell was evident the second the bag hit the hot water. The water began to darken immediately and I actually should have removed the teabag rather than let it stay in the cup because it got pretty darn strong….luckily mint is a pleasant flavor!

Not bad, but I wish it had actually had some tea leaves in it – could have used that caffeine yesterday…

Let me tell you why I’m drinking this, and not my new box of Vanilla Apricot White Tazo….

I went to Whole Foods this morning and bought two new teas, One I thought was a coconut rooibos (it was green tea, my bad) and the other was Vanilla Apricot White Tazo… I thought. I walked to the cupboard, opened the box and pulled out a Lipton tea bag. Strange, a Lipton sample in a Tazo box? Wierd… and another? and ANOTHER?!!!

SABATOGE! Someone stuffed this box with bummers…. :(

At least I have some other new teas to experiment with, thanks Ashley! I love everything mint. This is all hot and cold at the same time! Perfect for cozying up on the couch with for some CSI before beddybye!!! Gracias friend!

I haven’t had any peppermint tea in what seems like forever!! This one is very light and delicous. It leaves that fresh taste in your mouth and I’m enjoying it very much after pigging out on Thai food tonight!

Picked this up when our stash of Stash peppermint ran out. It’s not as in your face peppermint as my future wife says….but it’s very tasty.

Got this as a free sample with some tea I ordered from the twining website (They have fast shipping!). Feeling a little sick to my stomach and it is a little late to have a black tea (Wanted to try the Prince of Wales I had gotten in the order) so I decided to try this herbal instead.

It is what it says it is, peppermint, nothing more and nothing less. If that is all you want you won’t be disappointed. It brews really dark. I saved the teabag and might try for a second steeping.

Resteeped the leaves, a little weak for the second steeping of course but still good and had a nice pepperminty taste.

I got this from my god mother as a Christmas present two years ago and haven’t opened it until now since I have sooo much tea lol
I am not too big of a fan of peppermint (I prefer spearmint) But this tea is very relaxing and has a very nice light peppermint flavor, with a sweet after taste.
I think I might have to buy more of this for work since doing so now I am relaxed at my desk XD

Excellent. It’s not necessarily any better or worse than other peppermint I’ve had, but it is pure peppermint leaves, and not any kind of blend or anything. A great herbal tea for anytime, really — I like it both hot and iced.

I’ve been so busy lately that in between my super-caffeinated cups of mate/black blend and (gasp!) heavily-sugared coffee I’ve been needing something to relax that just tastes good and doesn’t compound upon my already chemically-enhanced state of awakeitude. Peppermint tea in teabags? Heaven. Perfect heaven. So easy, so quick, so delicious. Most importantly, so hard to screw up. I’ve never noticed a difference pouring the water at boiling and pouring later. It’s actually not too bad cold-brew either — yes, there have been times where I forgot to turn my kettle on entirely. (oops.) Luckily, that wasn’t recent.

Anyways, since I’ve been drinking this a lot again, figured I’d sing its praises a little more. Twinings has kept it simple and it works so, so well.

notes I made but never posted from April 24:
This smells like menthol. Not necessarily a bad smell, but it reminds me of being sick and using vaporub. It tastes, well, minty. Even though it’s just mint, it doesn’t feel as overwhelming as the mintiness of the Wissotzsky mint tea that I found so unpleasant.

notes from today:
This is really nice when you actually are sick. The peppermint is relieving some of the sinus pressure and tastes very nice. There’s a touch of sweetness on the back end that leaves a pleasant aftertaste as well. This is a tea to keep on hand for colds, allergies, and possibly headaches (if I remember to buy it…).

First of all, I bought this tea because it was on a 2 for $6 sale and my tea inventory was rather low and in need of replenishment. I bought this with Twinings Lady Grey as I wanted to have a breakfast tea. I grabbed this as soon as I saw it o the stores shelves because I am a big fan of peppermint tea, desiring a tea to help me with my sore throat, and of course, it helps with digestion. It smells wonderful. This is the best smelling peppermint tea I’ve encountered by far. Its scent is so strong and pleasing, even my little brother, who is not a fan tea, was taken aback by how relaxing the scent is, saying it reminded him of Christmas (probably because of candy canes). As soon as I opened the box, I could smell its wonderful aroma, leaving a great first impression. I wish the flavor lived up to my first impression though. The flavor was not as strong and I like my teas on the stronger side. I suggest brewing it longer than the suggested time. The peppermint flavor is more of an aftertaste than the actual taste of the beverage, so steeping it a little longer is ideal for someone like me. When you first pour boiling water over the bag, a greenish hue is emitted from the tea bag, which I find very odd as most peppermint teas brew into a dark orange-brown color. After a minute goes by, the green tinge turns to that color, but still, a slight green tinge in the first minutes of steeping was not what I expected. I really hoped that the peppermint taste would have been stronger, especially because this is pure peppermint. I have had ginseng peppermint blend teas that had more minty tastes than this. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase.

This is probably my favourite peppermint tea brand.

It has a lovely colour, lovely aroma and a bold, classic flavour. It seems to keep fresh for longer, and not go stale as quickly as some of the other brands.

(And with a grand total of 40 Twining’s Pure Peppermint tea bags I am very grateful for that.) I mention, rather facetiously, that I’m a professional peppermint propagandist in the ‘about me’ section of my profile – and I’ve tried and tested my fair share of peppermint teas. But, this has to be my favourite. Twining’s is certainly the maestro of tea bags, and this proves no different.

Beautiful colour, brilliant taste, warm finish.

Very nice, but then, it’s pretty hard to wreck peppermint tea unless you add, I don’t know, dirt or nail clippings or something. Well done, Twinings! – a modest task accomplished well, and congratulations on not lacing it with hibiscus.

One of my staple teas, I try to always have it in my cupboard. I’ve noticed that some other peppermint teas from different brands can leave a rather bitter after-taste – not this one I find. Even when let to brew for some time (aka, forgetting about it!) it still retains it’s relatively light flavour.

Also my favourite tea for when I’m feeling under the weather; I was always given mints or told to brush my teeth when I was younger to help calm my stomach, peppermint really seems to help.

I have this in the k-cup version. I really enjoy it at night before bed. Really soothing after a long day.

True story: this is my evening tea. Anything else and I’ll be staring at the ceiling for lord knows how many hours, you dig? Fortunately, Twinings’ peppermint possesses a strong mint flavor for ages and has a vibrancy that other peppermints lack. It’s Good Stuff, okay, and worthy of being a staple in my household.

Brews a dark green liquor with nice aroma. Flavor with half a pack of Truvia and you have a very pleasant sip n’ cup of fine flavored tisane. Yum This came as a single free teabag with my online order. Never woulda’ bought this before and surprized by how much I like it.

I discovered this tea, of all places, in an Asian market in Oklahoma City in 2009 or so. It seemed very out of place to me so of course I had to buy it and try it out. I’ve always like Twinings tea and I hadn’t seen this on the shelves back home. Since then it has become a staple in our pantry because it is just so good to drink when your sick. Peppermint is just so soothing when you have an upset stomach or sore throat and since it is bagged it is convenient when all you feel like doing is staying in bed.

I love this Peppermint tea, it is so fresh and thirst quenching!

It is one of the few teas that I can drink both hot and cold. So I like to drink it when it’s too warm and when it’s too cold.

Considering it’s a teabag, I really do love this herbal tea.
