I am not sure I could have identified this as a Darjeeling. It tasted like malted milk balls to me. No one else seemed to experience this. Maybe my taste buds are off today. Hope they stay off :) The more typical muscat flavors came late in the sip and stayed in the lingering aftertaste. No bitterness. A nice smooth cup.

First, I want to say “Thank you” to Two Leaves and a Bud I really appreciate your sending me this tea to sample.

Can I just say “Wow” I was very surprised by this one. It’s rather good actually. It’s light, fresh, and has best lingering note that only occurs in a Darjeeling. I am not sure how to put that flavor into words but I am sure you know what I am talking about.

I’d say try this the next time you want a Darjeeling. :)

I made tea for myself on Monday and then left it on the counter. With time to spare, I went to the library for a giant $2 cup of tea and picked this one out.

I probably liked this even better than the tea I had made! (Which I never got to drink.)

It’s not as good as a specific single estate, specific flush Darjeeling, as in I really couldn’t taste my favorite nutty/citrusy notes, but there’s still honey and the lovely Darjeeling astringency. It was an all around smooth and enjoyable cup.

For $2 a cup I don’t have to get mad about forgetting my travel mug!

Delicious! I love this Darjeeling. It tastes clean and sweet with a light astringency. Hints of flower in the background and a very pleasing muscatel! Lovely!

Wow! This is a very lovely Darjeeling, light, fruity (muscatel!) and decidedly slurpable!

My humans have been drinking Darjeelings for awhile, so wanted to compare this one to some of those. See the results: http://bit.ly/8iBepr

This is, what I believe, a typical TL&B tea: Sophisticated and subtle. It is an excellent tea that requires you to pay attention. Pay attention to its quiet bouquet. Pay attention to its very pleasant taste. This is an excellent Sunday morning tea when you might have the time to savor this delicious tea.
