Have you ever had a busy few days, filled with festivities and fun… but when it was over, felt so tapped out that the concept of sleep sounded like the most wonderful thing in the world?
Well that’s me today! Hermit mode. Serves me right for booking almost a week straight of holiday celebrations.

Anyhow, I went for Chinese food yesterday… to sop up some of the alcohol that was consumed over New Years. They served Pu-erh tea, I have no idea what brand. But it was nice to sip on and kept me warm! Smooth and comforting. Though it didn’t go very well with my soup, which came after I had a few cups of tea!

Happy New year everyone!!!

I’m off to bed then. Nap time :)

Mine was actually Teavana’s discontinued Organic Pu-erh. It tea and dirt had a baby, that’s what this tastes like. I do enjoy it quite a bit, but I have to be in the mood for it. Usually it goes like this: I’m looking through my tea collection trying to decide what I’m going to drink, because I’m feeling indecisive, usually I know exactly what it is, and I see it and I say, “Hell, why not?”

Just brewed a mug of Pu-erh (from a bag of loose leaf tea purchased from Lee Rosy’s, Nottingham).
The anticipation is building somewhat. Smells of farmy goodness, slight hint of earthy manure and a really rich, dark colour. Tasty tasty.
