The stylish leaves of this choice selection are laced with silvery tips. The cup is well balanced, with a complex flavor that is pleasantly accented with a mildly minty overtone.
Second sample tea of the day…I think I over-steeped… :( But a little sugar and half and half seemed to fix the bitter issue. I will say this smells very nutty and tastes good too. Will have to steep for less than 3 minutes next time…
Seeps rather fast, but one of my favorite afternoon teas, very reliable across different harvest years. Nice light tea, with muscatel notes if you brew it quick, if you miss the window it can get bitter.
The leaves of this tea are beautiful with plenty of tips. It has a slightly nutty smell and is very mild and smooth. It does have a very slight minty note. It steeps up a light amber color and actually reminds me of a roasted green tea in taste. The tea has sweet undertones as it cools.
