From Upton Tea Imports

This lovely selection has a light cup with a pleasing brisk quality and a classic first flush profile. The liquor has a complex, floral aroma with hints of unripe banana. The attractive, tippy leaves have a wonderful, fresh aroma.

The well-made leaves of this tea have a greenish cast, with elegant silver tips scattered throughout. The complex infusion has interesting notes of sandalwood, honeysuckle, and mild hints of citrus. The aroma has a pleasant floral quality that lingers in the finish.

The leaves are pretty onced brewed. The cup’s a lovely bright light orange-gold hue. Like most Nepalese black teas I’ve tried from Upton, there is a tantalizing sandalwood aroma dry and in the cup I’m just crazy about. That lingering sweetness that comes in, characteristic of these teas, is lovely.
