This is at medium strength for a black tea and I’m ok with that because it’s incredibly smooth yet flavorful. I can pick up natural fruity notes – maybe like wild berries, almost – Raspberry or blackberry or maybe even currants. But it’s NOT Tangy. It’s smooth! YUM! This is delightful!

This is a really smooth black. I can’t say as it’s my favourite kind of taste from a black but this could easily be a staple in my cupboard for those of my friends who like black tea to be straight and “boring” without any flavour nuances. I like the boldness of this one and the lack of stringency on the tongue.

I picked this rather inexpensive ($8.00/250g) CTC mostly based on TeaEqualsBliss’s review. Let me quickly say I’m glad I did.

This is a smooth, mild-med. bodied black tea. I’ll confess that based on the bag aroma I expected it to be a little bolder, but I’m glad it wasn’t, as this is a great afternoon/evening cup of tea.

No milk or sugar added, this was a really satisfying cup.

PS – If anyone wants generous samples of this, please email me. I’d be happy to share.
