Very plain, unassuming. Reminds me of a ceylon black, although I haven’t had one in a while. Something slight in the aftertaste reminded me of yunnan black teas. Anyway, tastes like a black tea.
For years the Marinyn estate suspended Orthodox production in favor of producing CTC teas. We are pleased that Orthodox production has resumed on this estate, as it has always been a favorite with our customers. This tea has a wonderful balance of cup strength and character, accented with pleasant malty notes.
