Pai Mu Tan Imperial ZW55

White Tea by Upton Tea Imports

Often preferred over more delicate and exotic selections, such as Downy White Pekoe, this offering has a fuller flavor, darker cup, and more robust flavor than many white teas. The liquor has sweet taste, smooth character and fresh quality.

I can’t believe I forgot to write about this one. It was so good, and now it’s all gone…

Well, I do remember this: it was pretty, had a fantastic mouthfeel, and strength/flavor lived up to the complex and warm, slightly sweet fragrance. I may buy some of this later, when my Lupicia stash starts to diminish.

Kind of has a bright, refreshing flavor. There is this flavor in the background that slightly reminds me of… plantains maybe? Also, it reminds me of some of the darjeeling teas I have tried. Hard to describe beyond that. The cooler the temperature gets the more I’m enjoying it.

This is a stronger white… it hints at an Assam in some ways, even. Strong dark flavor in the middle and back of the tongue.

This is one of my favorite teas to have at the end of the day. Strong bold flavor and great aroma. For me, the texture is often creamy.

This is such a nice tea! There is nothing missing from it. It’s sweet and even has some subtle flavor to it.

A wonderful tasting tea, that just gets better with each infusion. In the first infusion the tea has a slightly earthy mild smooth taste, but after an additional infusion the tea took on a slightly sweeter flavor. I was able to infuse this tea 3 times without losing any of the beauty of the flavor.
