Darjeeling
Known as the “champagne of tea” by tea connoisseurs, our first flush Darjeeling tea leaves have a musky spiciness and floral aroma. Darjeeling is typically made from a small-leaved plant rather then a large leaved Assam plant. Darjeeling contains a large amount of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols that aid in fighting harmful diseases while protecting the body. Darjeeling is also known to strengthen the immune system, lower cholesterol, and protect teeth and bones. Small amounts of calcium, manganese, and potassium have also been found in Darjeeling. Try this tea hot or over ice!
