Assam CTC
Our Assam CTC consists of the “crush, tear, curl” processing method. This method is highly popular in India. Assam CTC is a strong, distinctively malty, full bodied tea with a sweet undertone making it a perfect drink for morning and one that most coffee lovers enjoy. Assam CTC has a first flush and a second flush. The second flush is highly preferred amongst all traditional tea lovers. Assam CTC like all black teas, contain a large amount of antioxidant compounds called polyphenols that aid in fighting harmful diseases while protecting the body. Black tea is also known to strengthen the immune system, lower cholesterol, and protect teeth and bones. Small amounts of calcium, manganese, and potassium have also been found in black tea.
