丸山園の深むし茶は、蒸しをとくに入念にしましたもので、製品は形がくずれて細かくなっておりますが、葉緑素が湯によく溶け、水色は深いみどり、味はまろやかな茶となっております。

深むし茶は摘みとった茶葉を蒸気で特に入念に蒸し、生葉をすっかりやわらかくしますので、製茶の工程で葉が砕けることにもなりますが、茶葉に含まれているアミノ酸（甘味）と葉緑素が湯に溶けやすくなり水色は深いみどりで味の濃い、滋味に優れたお茶になります。
